Mansergh-Stuessy Fund for College Innovation of the Saint Paul Foundation

Annual seed-grant awards available to Gustavus, Hamline, and Macalester colleges in Minnesota

About The Mansergh-Stuessy Fund

The Mansergh-Stuessy Fund is intended to support 1-year seed grants for new, innovative ideas developed and tested by Gustavus, Hamline, and Macalester colleges in Minnesota. Proposals may be in the areas of curricula, research, programs, and services for students, faculty/staff or alumni.

The Mansergh-Stussey Fund was established in 2011, recognizing the 50th wedding anniversary of Gerald and Nancy Stuessy Mansergh. It is intended for MPCC institutions from which Mansergh-Stuessy descendants received a Bachelor's degree. Since the first grants in 2012, over $40,000 has been awarded to fund creative, cutting edge ideas.

Current Deadline

Proposals are due November 15, 2018, for 2019 awards to be announced in January.  Up to two proposals from each institution will be considered in the range of $1500-3500 each.
